Mustang FB 65 või Mustang Cobra 95
Eksisin 100hp-ga - muidugi võimaldasid Cobra Jet versioonid 370hj, kuid kiirendust 0-100 km/h siiski vaid 6,5 sekundiga ja veerandmiiliaega 14,5 sekundit.
96 SVT Cobrale antakse 0-100 5,9 sek ja 1/4 13,9.

Jep, true that. Palju on spekuleeritud, et mis oleks saanud, kui Cobra Jet olnuks GT350 keres, kuhu ta aga kahjuks mingi valemiga ei mahtunud.
Aga Raul, palju Must sajani kiirendab (Autolehe test)? Siis tal vist suht pastlad all ka olid...
Mmm....ja kas Sa tahaksid neid SuperFlow pihusteid tagasi:P?

No must tegi ja ka AL testis enda tehaseandmete (6,9?) kohta väga head 5,9 - ma olen koguaeg rääkinud, et mustangide tehaseandmed on underrated

Muidu nende 40 aasta taguste sportmasinatega pidi sedasi olema, et tihti avastavad isegi tänapäevaste tavasõidumasinatega harjunud kodanikud, et tolleaja "sport" on juhitavuselt ja sõiduomadustelt väga Gaz-24 Volga moodi. Kohe ilma naljata.
Aga sul auto valitud, hilja juba. Kui sa nüüd 95 Cobra kõrval prooviks näiteks mingit tavalisemat 65 aasta oma, siis arvatavasti pettud.

We all know that modern road cars are built on the same technology that's used in rally cars and track cars, especially the Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru Impreza, which are both road-going rally cars. What we wanted to know was how good are the cars in showrooms across the country right now. Are they better than the racing cars of yesteryear?
Focus RS v Escort RS1600
In this race the RS1600 had a disadvantage: its cornering was lousy because its rear axel is much like a scaffolding pole. This was an easy win for the Focus with its computer technology.
Ford GT40 v Nobel M400
A tricky one. It might be 40 years old, but the Ford GT was built to beat everything else on the track, and the Nobel is no exception. It was almost too close to call, but the stopwatch never lies and we timed the Ford GT at 0.6 of a second faster. One all then.
Audi Quattro v Evo VIII
What a pairing, the Audi Quattro revolutionised both rally cars, and then did the same for road cars. Its lighter probably has more horse power than the Evo but its engine is too far forward which means massive understeer. The Evo with its two year warranty and fabulous stereo won this one.
That proves it. The racing cars of yesterday were beaten by cars that anyone could buy from a main dealer, in our tests anyway.

Looking back from our era of weedy political correctness,it is amazing to remember a time when you could buy this sort of stomach-churning horsepower straight from the showroom floor.What`s more,if you couldn`t afford to buy it,you could borrow it for the weekend from your local Hertz rent-a-car.The fact is that the American public loved the grunt,the image,and the Carroll Shelby Cobra connection.Ford`s advertising slogan went straight to the point - Shelby Mustangs were "The Road Cars".With 289 and 428cid V8s,they were blisteringly quick and kings of both street and strip.By `67 they were civilized too,with options like factory air and power steering,as well as lots of gauges,a wood-rim Shelby wheel,and that all-important 140mph (225 km/h)speedo.The little Pony Mustang had grown into a thundering stallion.
500 name GT500 name was arbitrary and did not refer to power.

oi-oi! Minu näpukas -teema oli ju Mustang Fastback 1965a "relv",mitte Shelby Cobra GT500!

Mul üks küsimus suurele ringile:
Nimelt pärast natuke erksamat kohaltminekut lööb põlema märgutuli LOW OIL ja jääbki põlema kuniks süüde välja keerata. Samas aga püsib õlitase normaalne - täpselt varda min ja max vahel. Uuesti sõitma hakates tuli ei põle kuni järgmnise erksama liigutuseni.
Küsimus - kas ongi nii mõeldud, et kui lööb andurikoha hetkeks kuivale ja siis tuli jääbki peale?

Minu autol on sama süsteem. Ringrajal kalla kas kõik silmini täis või saad närvikõdi, kui poolel teel lääb äkki Check põlema ja laes süttib lambike "Kühlwasser"
Sellisel juhul registreeritakse see impulss ja mõeldud on sedasi, et paned mootori seisma ja kontrollid üle. Muidu jääb põlema, et sa ära ei unustaks.
